To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Beridiana Leyva in a professional capacity for 2 years. I am an AMI trained Primary Directress as is Beridiana. I taught at the Primary level, and she was hired to guide and support at the Toddler level. As the Head Teacher at our Primary campus, I worked closely with Beridiana to determine readiness for transition from Toddler to Primary. Beridiana’s observations and insights into each child’s strengths and challenges assisted the Primary staff’s decision-making for placement of children within the 3 classrooms. Teaching at a level different from one’s training can be challenging. Fortunately, Beridiana understood the philosophy and developmental needs of each child and adapted her “lessons” appropriately to the demonstrated readiness of each child.
I have recently been promoted to Assistant Director of the Toddler and Primary Program and was saddened to receive Beridiana’s resignation. Her commitment to Montessori Principles and Practices will be missed.
Sincerely,

To Whom it may concern,

This letter is written on behalf of Beridiana Leyva. I met Beri around 7 years ago at our son, Alex’s, Montessori School, in Phoenix, AZ. Beri was the Assistant Teacher to one of the more respected Montessori teachers in the school.

We quickly noticed Beri’s personality- she had an inner and outer strength and calmness that commanded respect. Beri connected with everyone: children, staff, parents and was amazingly empowering with the children she engaged with.

Our nanny cut back on hours and we asked Beri if she would be willing to help part-time; we loved Beri as a nanny, teacher, and a person.  She encouraged our children to be curious and independent; she was respectful, kind-hearted, and strong. Beri will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I wholeheartedly and without hesitation highly recommend Beridiana for your position. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Beridiana Leyva. I am a veterened teacher of adolescents for 16 years, a certified Montessori educator and a certified administrator and principal. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Beridiana this past year at Khalsa Montessori.

I witnessed Beridana interacting and working with both her toddlers and with my middle school students on numerous occasions. We worked together to create some (covid friendly) events for our students to interact and learn from one another. I absolutely love the way Beridana engages children in the learning process as well as how she simply connects from her heart with anyone she encounters.

Beridiana is a kind, caring, intelligent person who is hard working and joyful. Her classroom is set up beautifully and

practically therefore her students benefit from her organization and aesthetic eye. She is determined to do her very best at whatever she puts her mind to. It was a difficult year for educators at Khalsa (and in general) but she always stayed positive and consistently brainstormed solutions to the many difficult situations that we encountered along this journey.

Personally, I’ve looked to Beridiana for guidance and support on several occasions and she is always willing to listen and offer a different perspective. Your school would be fortunate to have Beridiana as a new member of your community. She has a lot to offer to both the children and the adults. I will miss working with her but more than anything I wish for her that she finds a school community that supports her growth as a teacher and has a place to share the amazing gifts that she has to offer.
